The pattern translates a conceptual idea into a wearable garment. At studio oosm, technical expertise is combined with a creative approach, with attention to use, movement, material, body measurements and constructive complexity.

By focusing on technical details and construction logic, clear patterns are created that can be used efficiently. Thanks to digital delivery, communication with production can be fast and transparent.

GRADING

Size consistency is an essential part of grading. A uniform fit across all sizes and the entire collection strengthens brand identity, builds customer trust and helps reduce returns.

Each product type and each target audience requires a different approach. With attention to body proportions and fit, Studio oosm supports a thoughtful and consistent size structure, tailored to the specific target group.

3D PROTOTYPING

3D prototyping makes it possible to visualize and evaluate patterns early in the development process. One of the tools we use is CLO3D to test fit, proportions and construction, and to implement targeted steps before physical samples are made.

3D visualization reduces the number of samples needed to assess design, color and style lines. A clear communication tool within the team.

These 3Ds can even be further developed into high-resolution renderings which, in combination with AI tools, generate images to use in a webshop, in presentations, as a pre-order tool or as packshots.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

In addition to pattern development, technical support is provided towards production. Support includes fabric selection, finishing techniques and – if desired – connecting with suitable production partners.

Technically accurate files with clear documentation are created, and communication regarding construction and finishing is supported. This ensures that the developed knowledge is correctly translated into production and that the quality of the product is maintained.
